Bluefields’ Pre Season Tour 2011

Bluefields tour bus

Birmingham a couple of weeks ago, Bristol last weekend and now Watford this Sunday: we’ve been on a bit of a pre-season tour of England and it’s been a lot of fun so far. Whilst it’s been no Asia (see Chelsea and Liverpool), and certainly no Las Vegas, (Lucky O’s) it’s been great spreading the Bluefields word and getting such a positive response from everyone we’ve spoken to.

The Football Resource Show

The third and final destination on the list is Watford this weekend where we’ll be trekking across London town to Vicarage Road for the Home Counties Football Resource Show 2011. The guys organising this are aiming for a show “that covers all aspects of running a football club right on your doorstep, so you don’t need to spend time and money travelling to a national event that doesn’t directly source suppliers in your area, or relate to key issues for your club.” Whilst these regional shows are obviously on a much smaller scale than the likes of Grass Roots, their target audience is the same as ours. We’re looking to talk to as many team managers as we can to help shape our site.

The Humble Tour Bus

Whilst the hard workers at our lowly start up have been voyaging across country in something similar to the bus featured in the title picture (that might be a slight exaggeration/fabrication), rumours reach us that our co-founder, mascot and general fan of the high life Pepe has not been having things so tough. If it turns out to be true that he got a lift home from Birmingham with one Miss Jackson, I’m calling my union.

Some say Pepe had his way with Ms Jackson, some say Pepe doesn’t know what his way is.
