Great! You clicked here, so we already really like you!
Sports On the Brain contains articles written by those of us actively involved in recreational sports for those of us actively involved in recreational sports. So we are always looking for new writers. We also want to keep the content varied and fresh so there are very few requirements to getting your work published, whether you are a Player, Coach, Manager, Substitute (unlucky) or Ref (even more unlucky)
What to write
You can write about your thoughts from the weekend, your injuries, training, the bad ref you had, the problems faced by your club, or even give us some insight into your views on the professional world of sports.
If you have an article, or an idea for an article email it to sotb (at) bluefields (dot) com or use the form below to submit it to us. Once you have been published you will get your own login to the site from where you can add articles.

Think about how your article fits into our categories. We are not strict on this but have a look here to find out more about our categories.
Your work must be your own and original (we will check). Link to it from wherever you wish but you cannot re-publish the work anywhere else.
Why don’t you tell us about the state of the field during the weekend, what you think about you local rec league or the state of grassroots sports in your city? Vivid commentary on the legendary basketball exploits of President Barack Obama would also be great to have.
Here at Bluefields (we are the people behind SOTB) we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Whatever your tone we we will have a look. We’re cool with rants, and we absolutely love a bit of banter. Of course, this is also the place to be if you want to get some serious information on training tactics and overall coaching help.
